Video - I get an error message when I try to print or create a report

If you have problems viewing this video you can also view it at the main YouTube website by clicking this link.

If you receive an error message during creating or printing of a report which reads... 'This file is already open and must be closed or you do not have full write access to the location where you are trying to save it', ...the common cause is you don't not have permission to save the report in the location where the report is trying to be saved. This could be set by your server or local permissions enforced by Windows.

Just before creating the report you can change the location where the report will be saved by clicking the options button just above the create button. Now you can change the location to your desktop or your My documents where permission are usually less restrictive. The location you set is also remembered for future reports.
