What is a template event and how to create a template?

Template events are used to create new events with preset information. This helps reduce the amount of repetitive information you may have duplicated with events you already had in your schedule.

You can create an event (maybe in the past to not effect current scheduling), with any start and end times, durations, details, colors, and linked to any resources and keywords you need, then tick the Template box. Once saved the event is now available to choose from your templates list. The title of the event is used as the template name shown in the templates list.

You can edit your templates by clicking the menu in the right of the template name, or the Settings menu on mobile devices.
